Black Card Short film
A once beloved pop star, Indigo, endangers her career with a controversial performance for a problematic politician. She is stripped of her "Black Card" in a world where it is a physical card that carries weight and meaning and provides access to Black America. With the help of African American Anonymous (AAA), she must reconnect with herself, her community and family to regain her place in the world and her Black Card.

Black Card was born out of writer Donte Felder’s vision to create a vehicle that celebrates Black culture while exploring how communities can practice “calling people in” rather than “calling people out.” Donte wrote the feature screenplay, which quickly drew the support of Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam, who recognized both the cultural importance of the story and its creative potential.

In May 2024, the team shot a short film/proof of concept version of Black Card, with SAG actors, now in post-production, to further introduce audiences to the story and its world.
